City Sidewalks, Busy Sidewalks Dressed in Holiday Style
Dressed with millions of twinkling lights and animated sculptures, downtown Milwaukee is pulling out all the stops to shine bright this season. Bundling the festive sights and abundance of holiday happenings is the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival. Led by Milwaukee Downtown, Business Improvement District #21, the festival is a lights spectacular, which reigns the region for seven weeks.

Streets lined with brilliant wreaths, new Moravian stars, decorated storefronts and illuminated rooftops provide a breathtaking entrance into downtown. But the talk of the town is the transformation of three Milwaukee County Parks into fairytale scenes, making downtown a must–see family attraction.

Festive Sights Abound Aboard the Potawatomi Jingle Bus
The best way to see downtown’s kaleidoscope of color is aboard the convenient Potawatomi Jingle Bus. For $1 per person, this Coach USA bus offers 40–minute narrated tours by downtown’s Public Service Ambassadors. Catch the tour from the Official Warming House at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, 509 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Thursdays through Sundays, until December 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. Enter from the Hilton’s 6th Street entrance to register and receive FREE hot cocoa, cookies, coloring books and crayons while you wait. The last bus departs at 8:20 p.m., so come early to reserve your space! And don’t forget to hang on to your Potawatomi Jingle Bus ticket stub. Parking is available in the Hilton Milwaukee City Center parking ramp at a discounted rate of $5 with your ticket stub.
